Plan, Do, review

Each TWFC match is approached with the same method by the TWFC coaching staff, which is to Plan, Do, and Review. This process allows players and coaches to tactically prepare for each match and gives coaches the chance to review and make changes going forward.

• Clearly communicate the goals of each match and what the desired outcome is
• Create a game plan that will be able to produce the desired outcome 
• Study opposition’s strengths and weaknesses 
• Understand your own strengths and weaknesses 
• Prepare tactically and physically 

do

• Players and coaches go out and execute in the match what was practiced 
• Communicate with players from sidelines on game plan and other relevant tactics 
• Change game plan as match circumstances dictate (i.e., Change to a move defensive set up with the lead late in the match) 
• Make substitutions and tactical altercations when needed 

Review

• Review the performance of the team and how determine if the desired outcome was accomplished 
• Review the performance of the team by the TWFC DNA standards (I.e., how was the team in the three phases of play) 
• Recognize the positives and build off them 
• Recognize the negatives of the performance and work towards correcting what went wrong. Confronting and working on mistakes and issues within the club is the fastest and most effective way in overcoming these problems and maintaining a winning culture at the club.
