The TWFC DNA is the training and playing philosophy of the TWFC teams. Its objective is to offer relevant and up-to-date information that contributes to the development of the young players of the TWFC team and allows them to achieve success on the pitch.
In the foundation phase, we focus on child development, sport as physical activity and the relationship between the two. Now, to create a positive football experience and promote the DNA of the TWFC you must take into account the following elements:
• The power of play: During childhood, feelings of exploration and experimentation intensify. These characteristics, without a doubt, represent a great advantage for the players and help the success of the team.
• The importance of training: Soccer today is the favorite sport of many children, which is why they usually start training at an early age. By providing them with a supportive and playful space, you can encourage long-term interest in playing soccer while allowing them to create a healthy lifestyle.
• The basics of child (and player) development: Taking into account the different stages of your child's development, it is essential to support them as they grow.
The TWFC Player: Skills and Attributes
We aim to develop technically excellent TWFC players with the attributes and skills to excel in domestic and international football. The TWFC players will have the ability to create, score and prevent goals through excellence in the FA four corner model.
The TWFC Player: Age-Phase Priorities
Age is a factor that influences the development of players. Based on this, we help young players in their development through priorities established as they grow. Priorities are a set of principles that TWFC coaches at each of the age phases follow and reinforce their coaching with other topics.
